Nolita Architecture Review

About
Everything began in July 2024, on a month-long trip to Vietnam, where I wanted a souvenir to bring back home with me. I came up with the idea to draw a building in each city I visited. So, I walked around with a single Tabloid-sized piece of paper, and sat in front a building that struck me as beautiful or unique, and sketched for 30 minutes.
I saw a unique blend of materials; ranging from 16th Century wood and terracotta homes to soaring contemporary steel and glass buildings, along with occasional houseboats.
I returned home and struggled to find something comparable to Vietnam's unique streetscape, then one day I looked up.
I realized that the same eclectic feeling I was searching for was right home, in Nolita. One night in October, I decided to start sketching buildings in my neighborhood. And then, Nolita Architecture Review was born.

Two years later, Nolita Architecture Review is going strong: a Town & Country article, more than 3.500 followers on Instagram, 800k+ viewers each month, hundreds of personalized commissions sent across the globe, and many more surprises on the way.
